4Genlnsparya® provides the scalp with multiple forms of stimulation: physical, electrical and optical, coupled with natural minerals.
The device is suitable for both men and women.
4Genlnsparya® is the first at-home treatment device using PCLT – Pinpoint Current Laser Therapy – designed to treat baldness, thinning hair and hair loss in both men and women.
It combines four different treatment mechanisms that work together to rejuvenate hair follicles in a daily therapy session lasting 5 to 8 minutes.
The hormone DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is the primary antagonist of hair follicles prone to baldness on the scalp. This hormone can disrupt the normal hair growth cycle in individuals with androgen-responsive hair follicles (i.e. individuals genetically predisposed to the development of androgenetic alopecia), leading to the miniaturization of hair follicles to an aesthetically unacceptable degree. DHT is produced from testosterone by the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase in the sebaceous glands of hair follicles. Zinc and copper are two elements known to inhibit the activity of 5-alpha-reductase, thereby reducing the production of DHT.
To inhibit 5-alpha-reductase and consequently lower DHT levels, Hairegen gently introduces trace amounts of zinc and copper into the scalp through its metal plates, targeting the areas most in need of treatment. The 0.5 mm bumps on the circumference of the discs press against the scalp and can slightly penetrate the infundibulum, bringing the ions closer to their target.
Microcurrents are known to stimulate the skin, hair follicles, and underlying tissues. Numerous medical and skin treatment devices employ electrical currents in various types of pulses, frequencies, wavelengths, and voltage across fields such as dermatology, neurology and pain relief. Hairegen safely delivers electrical microcurrents to stimulate the skin. Unlike other devices, Hairegen utilizes precision point technology to deliver microcurrents to thousands of points for brief periods throughout the treated area. The microcurrents are within safety margins and comply with EU and SII EMC regulations, with up to 300 microamperes and no more than 30 volts. The voltage is applied between adjacent discs spaced approximately 3 mm apart, enhancing the electric field while maintaining safe limits.
When the discs roll over the scalp, the bumps along their circumference create thousands of pressure points. By rolling the discs back and forth, the pressure points provide brief but highly stimulating effects on the skin. Due to the small size of the pressure points, their impact is significant without requiring much force from the user.
The pressure point effect is enhanced by the gentle vibration that occurs in 2D, with movements orthogonal to the scalp and to the rolling path of the discs. The combined mechanical action improves blood flow in the scalp, leading to better nutrition for the hair follicles and the elimination of toxins. Neural stimulation is also believed to contribute to the regenerative effect, promoting scalp health and hair growth.
The scientific community recognizes LLLT (Low Level Light Therapy) as an effective method for treating and regenerating hair growth. The theory behind this therapeutic method suggests that light energy at these power levels (5 mW at source, 650 nm wavelength) enhances cell division, thereby accelerating the rate of hair regrowth. Hairegen emits light energy from a short distance, directly, while the discs move the strands of hair aside, allowing the light beam to reach the scalp and the area receiving the mechanical, biochemical and electrical stimulation, thus forming the fourth stimulation applied to the same area.
