Insparya Method FUE Hair Transplant

The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) Hair Transplant technique was innovated to deliver better results when compared to the traditional FUSS (Follicular Unit Strip Surgery) method while addressing its drawbacks. A key advantage of FUE is its ability to eliminate the visible linear scar often left by FUSS, providing patients with a more attractive post-procedure result.

Insparya Method FUE consists of extracting, aspirating and storage, in only one step, follicular units from a donor area – typically the back or sides of the head – with the use of the new BotHair Ultra Plus Insparya and strategically implanting them into areas with hair loss where they will then regrow hair. This technique aims to restore hair in a way that seamlessly blends with the existing hairline, yielding a remarkably natural outcome.

At Insparya Group’s hair transplant centers in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Oman we have an extensive medical team experienced in hair transplant. Our skilled professionals are complemented by a cadre of specialized nurses trained by our experts, ensuring top-tier care and expertise throughout the transplant process.

We developed our proprietary technique, the Insparya Method, which stands as a hallmark of safety, efficacy, and innovation in the realm of hair transplant. Combining the renowned FUE methodology with our cutting-edge technology, we ensure unparalleled precision and results for our patients.

By pairing an experienced clinical team with advanced technology, such as the BotHair® UltraPlus Insparya, we are mitigating the risk of damaging the follicular units to an absolute minimum.

HAIR TRANSPLANT PROCESS

Morning

Afternoon

The Hair Transplant with the Insparya method involves two main phases:

1st phase: extraction, aspiration and storage of the follicular units from the donor areas of the patient’s scalp.
2nd phase: implantation of the follicular units, which consists of placing the extracted follicular units in the hairless areas, according to a design previously agreed with the patient.

It should be noted that the risk of hair transplant rejection is non-existent, as the procedure involves utilising the patient’s own hair for transplant. During the procedure, the specific needs of each person, their physiognomy, and their condition are taken into account.

A hair transplant lasts a lifetime and is the only definitive solution for alopecia.

Transplant Day

Hair transplant is a practically painless procedure because it is performed under local anesthesia and is minimally invasive.

Follow-up Consultations

At Insparya, we're dedicated to supporting you every step of the way. The medical team will monitor your evolution, by phone call the day after the procedure, and through face-to-face consultations at the first hair wash on the 4th day after the procedure and in consultations at the 1st,, 6th, 12th, and 18th month.

Postoperative

Proper care is essential for the successful progression of your hair transplant procedure.

Normally, as it is a minimally invasive procedure, three days of rest are enough to ensure a good recovery and optimal follicle implantation.

During the initial 24 hours post-procedure, it’s advisable to prioritize rest. When sleeping, elevating your head at a 45º angle minimizes friction in the recipient area and reduces swelling.

In the first few days, eye and face swelling may occur as a side effect of anaesthesia. Prescribed pain relievers can alleviate any discomfort.

Starting on the third day, small crusts may appear at the implant site and the skin may turn red. This is a normal part of the process.
For at least 8 days post-surgery, it’s best to refrain from wearing caps, hats, or helmets.

Finally, during the first month, it’s important to resist the urge to touch or scratch your hair to prevent infection or premature shedding of the transplanted follicular units.

FAQs

Initial changes typically become apparent around three months post-procedure, with more substantial improvements becoming noticeable by the six-month mark. However, it generally requires up to a year before definitive results fully manifest.

If you choose to do coadjuvant treatments, such as our Mesotheapry MesoHAir + Insparya, after the first month consultation, the results can show faster.

The price of the hair transplant should be defined based on a prior evaluation carried out by a medical doctor to determine the type of alopecia, and the viability of the transplant depending on the donor area, hair density, possible pathologies, age, gender, etc.

There is no recommended age, hair transplants can be performed from 18 (sometimes sooner) to any age. The most common age, in men, is around 30/40 years old, since it is at that age the alopecia will usually be at its top.

However, it is not possible to say exactly what is the best age for a hair transplant, as circumstances can vary greatly from person to person. Therefore, it is always best to consult a specialist to determine what type of alopecia you have and what the best solution is for you.
