Scalp micropigmentation, also known as tricopigmentation, is a treatment that simulates the appearance of shaved hair growing on the scalp through selective micropigmentation. The primary objectives of this treatment are to modify, correct, enhance and balance certain features semi-permanently by injecting pigments into the skin.
It is an excellent option for concealing scars on the scalp and and simulating fuller hair or a shaved head for patients with severe or total alopecia.
Scalp micropigmentation is a very safe and non-aggressive technique, making it an effective solution for correcting certain problems that may otherwise be very difficult to correct. It also serves as a perfect complement to hair transplant procedures.

It is highly unlikely that you would want to remove your tricopigmentation once it’s completed. However, if you are unsatisfied with the results for any reason, there is a solution. The process can be reversed using laser technology to remove the pigment. This procedure typically requires topical or local anaesthesia and it is usually less complex than removing a tattoo, as micropigmentation only penetrates the epidermis.
